Because of it's title and content, this track got no airplay. It is an excellent track, though I did not like the rap section.

I remember back in the '70s-early '80s it was considered cool among a lot of people to 'hate' Styx; I was never 100% sure why. It was just the thing to do, I suppose, but I liked a couple of their songs, this being one of them.

I recently got back into the Studio Ghibli anime movies after about 14 years, and saw The Secret World of Arrietty for the first time. As always, I prefer the original language (Japanese) version. A wonderful movie, and I really liked this theme song. I was surprised to find this Japanese version of the song was sung by Cecile Corbel, a musician/singer from Brittany (France). She also sang the English version.
I especially liked the combination of Celtic sound with the Japanese lyrics.

my love song LP - Other People
When I was a kid, I (and apparently many other people) believed this was some 'lost' early Beatles song; and I was certain that John Lennon was the lead vocalist. Even the lyrics sound like something Lennon would have written and sung in the Beatles' mid-'60s period. The Knickerbockers were actually an American group from New Jersey.

A very different way of using strings, by a composer who's as good as they come.
R.I.P., Tom Petty.
this is just wickedly good
