The following is a small intro to Rebecca Ferguson, the runner up in the UK version of X Factor a few years ago. She is painfully shy but absolutely amazing. I am ga-ga over this chic:

I am enjoying all of what has been shared. A few I have heard before but never knew the name of.

    Cool stuff, guys!

Twelve Dreams of Dr. Sardonicus (by Spirit)
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MPzvHV1yTbk&sns=em

This album has long been one of my favorites. My earliest tastes in rock music were heavily influenced by my older bro and sis. My bro's been a musician since the late 1960s (guitar). Later, by around age 9, I got my own radio and started buying my own albums, and developed my own eclectic tastes. Back then, radio stations that played popular music played a combination of genres that you'd never see played on the same station nowadays.

    boxerbilly,

You're welcome. Yeah, Tighter, Tighter reminds me of the southern CA beaches in the summer, back in the early '70s. I was surprised years later when I discovered it's a New York song.

2 great songs and both are very kick-a-- live versions IMO. I may be born in 1984, but I have all the lyrics here memorized.

Queen Latifah: How Do I Love Thee

boxerbilly, the feminine is beautiful for sure. I get a real kick out of seeing those Mexican women who have a build like those females depicted in Mighty Mouse. I never thought that build existed in real life.

    More,

I am embarrassed to say that I just discovered the following piece a few days ago. It is unabashedly sensual:

Ashford & Simpson: So, So Satisfied

    The beat sounds similar to

    Wham: Everything She Wants

Musical arrangement beautifully inspired the following:

    Some Commentary,

"Gael" makes me want to bite a chunk off a bullet while it is in motion.

Spirit really tried to expand the boundaries of what was accepted as Rock and Roll and I respect them for that. "Why Can't I Be Free" sounds like the inspiration to "Free Bird" by Lynyrd Skynyrd.

The Big Band sound is wonderful. I enjoy the musical mischief. The Glenn Miller piece immediately took me to the Series "Crime Story".

"Tighter, Tighter" is still Hex Rated, much like "Afternoon Delight".

    Thanks Tmatt. Dylan is great.

Nice Mickey, George Michaels. Thanks for posting. Add more. Whatever you like. Someone is going to love it. A forgotten song. A new discovery.

    DuranDuran- Save a prayer

Oops, the add more line was meant for Tmatt. Everyone really. I don't care. Add from Mozart to 2 kids rubbing sticks together. I don't care!
