    Graphic violent video

Warning- stabbing and blood. NO ONE HELPS ! NO ONE. That is the normal human response. The value we place on human life as individuals is low. We would rather intervene on the behalf of 2 dogs fighting. I'm just as guilty.

What would you do, regardless your art if you found yourself on the bottom with this guy? The time for theory and practice ( few worry of this) is now not then.
All because one man did not like what another said to him. How he looked at him.

There's another video from the Philippines that was shared on another, non-MA forum that was even more brutal, if that's possible. In that one, taken from a security camera in a back room at some business, you see the footage pre, during, and post-attack. I believe the victim died in that one.

It's really impossible for anyone to predict how they would react. In that other forum, some posters were Monday morning quarterbacking, saying the victim should have done this, should have done that. Some others would say, "That's why I always carry a gun! I will not be a victim!" As if having a CCW permit and a firearm is some kind of talisman that automatically protects the carrier. Truth is, even the best fighters can be caught by surprise at the right/wrong time/situation.

When it comes to dealing with knives, you can also be on top and still end up the loser. In my area, there were two incidents that come to mind. In one, a collegiate wrestling champion/world class wakeboarder was drunk and pulled a guy out of a car, because the guy made a pass at his girlfriend. This wrestler had supposedly never lost any of the street fights he'd been in before. He took the guy down, and as he was on him from behind, the guy pulled out a knife and stabbed backward once, amazingly severing the wrestler's aorta. This incident was also featured on an episode of the true-crime series Forensic Files.

In another indicent, a guy who trained MMA got into a fight at a bar over another stupid reason. They were thrown outside, and decided to continue in the parking lot. The MMA guy reportedly took the other guy to the asphalt and proceded to mount him, and the other guy stabbed him over a dozen times from underneath with a "pocket knife" that he probably had opened in his hand, unseen by anyone else. The MMA guy most likely thought the guy was punching him. The MMA guy died, and the other guy is in prison.

I'm sure if I went up against a guy willing to kill me with weapon. I'm dead. I just hope he knows how to do it quick.

I was mulling over whether to post this here or not...this is the Philippines vid I mentioned earlier. You don't actually see the beginning of the attack, but you certainly see how it ends. Hopefully they'll catch this guy, if they haven't already, and give justice for the victim.

The main reason I decided to post this is because a lot of people, especially lots of MAists, have a dismissive attitude toward knives; "If someone comes at me with a knife, I'll just take it away from them." "I'll just shoot 'em." Some people have a serious case of Steven Seagal syndrome. There is a reason that, for many who know better, knives are considered the most terrifying of weapons.

    Just horrible.

They way things are around the world. It does not surprise me. In America. We drive by the welfare office and scream get a job " your word here ". Yet, the truth is there are about half as many jobs as there is working able. Out in app in a McDonalds now and there are 100 other applicants. We never think of that as we just trashed another person because he or she needs help and now is subjected to all sorts of nonsense and the illusion they are trash. It is sad.

Just think how bad it may be in the country of the video you posted.

The world has never had to support this many humans at any other time in history. Anyway, the next time any of you drive buy the " BUM CENTER" instead of voicing off your stupidity, offer one a job! Bet you cant.

Sorry, but I feel no sympathy for any sociopathic murderer who so willingly takes the life of an innocent person. There are no excuses to justify that. There are TONS of people who live in extremely difficult circumstances who never become murderers. And who's to say the guy in the second vid simply doesn't want to work for his money, but would rather take from others whatever the cost.
