It's a lie.
Dracula is forever
Great job Mr. Lee! Loved every minute of it and Sauroman an excellent one to leave us with.

Praise be my Lord my Rock,
He trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle !
From vampires to evil wizards to sith lords to heavy metal, Lee remained a gentleman.

I forgot about the sith....
You know he didn't change much the whole way. He looked 38 in 77 and without the makeup looked not much different when he was older compared to what happens to haha a lot of us.

In 'An Eye For An Eye' (1981), Chuck Norris was strangling Christopher Lee near the end of the movie. I remember thinking that the role and the movie was beneath Christopher Lee, and that he should have Dracula'd Chuck to death. Of course, he wasn't playing a monster in that one. Even the mighty Chuck Norris was way out of his league sharing the screen with Christopher Lee.
I always loved the onscreen rivalries between Lee and Peter Cushing, another one of my favorite actors. They had a back-and-forth chemistry that elevated the movies they were in.
