How to Tighten a Broadsword Without an Exposed Nut

    Good evening.

My sword is becoming very loose and I need to tighten it. In the past, I was able to just tighten the nut on the butt end, but this particular sword does not have the nut exposed. Does anyone know how to tighten this type of sword? I've included some pics for reference. Thanks in advance for your help.

Knock the pommel off, tighten the screw inside, put the pommel back on and glue it in place.
Kung Fu is good for you.

    Greetings,

    Black Mantis,

Those knives are an accident waiting to happen.

If possible, have a welder add an additional length to the blade that sandwiches the blade near its end. Have the person drill 2 holes where the new handle will be get some good quality wood to form the handle, secure them. You can choose to have the chrome refinished or get some serious high gloss spray paint. You will have a knife that will last for several years.
