    poop in the cage

I know, I know, a harsh thread for sure. I've seen a few of these and thought it might be worth collating them here. I don't know why. It's Monday.

poop happens. Got to hand it to Kish. She dealt with it well. Most would be mortified.

WATCH: UFC Fighter Poops Herself While Getting Choked Out
    By Atilano Diaz - Jun 26, 2017

Yes, you read that right. A UFC fighter did indeed just poop herself inside the cage. Made a huge mess too, and on top of it all, lost the fight. Man, it was a bad night for female strawweight Justine Kish (6-1), who fell to Felice Herrig (13-6) by unanimous decision Sunday night at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City.

It was a bad night for Justine Kish

Mixed martial arts is one of the toughest sports in the entire world. Night in and night out, fighters beat the crap out of each other, sometimes quite literally. Yes, this isn’t the first time this has happened. But it is perhaps one of the most graphic.

As Kish and Herrig continued to battle for three rounds, Herrig caught Kish in a rear naked choke. It was deep and right under the neck and must have taken a lot of willpower to overcome. In the end, Kish was able to tough it out and escape, but not before she made a mess of the canvas. Streaks of feces covered the mat as fans took to Twitter to confirm the incident.

Herrig went on to claim the hard-earned unanimous decision while Kish loses the first bout in her career. Two more bouts were scheduled to take place after, as officials scrambled to get the mess cleaned up.

Kish was actually very jovial about things and later took to Twitter to express herself

Herrig dominated Kish with her wrestling and grappling. And although Kish displayed amazing strength and resilience, it wasn’t enough to overcome the technical ability of Herrig. The final scores read 30-26 twice and 29-27 for Herrig who wins her third straight in the Octagon.

Kish, known more as a striker, tried to put the pressure on Herrig from the get-go with aggressive Muay Thai. Yet every time Kish would land a meaningful strike, Herrig’s experience shone through and Kish was back in a precarious position. By the end of the fight, the winner was clear as it was Herrig who used her skills to dominate every position.
