    Bruce Lee shoes

Too bad I don't like Vans. They just don't fit my feet well.

Supreme x Bruce Lee x Vans
By Alex Patakos August 13, 2013

By the looks of it, Supreme and Vans have something special coming down the pipe in the form of a Bruce lee collab. Two sk8 highs and a set of authentics make up the pack, which will most likely include some clothing as well.

Peep the photo above and let us know what you think. No release date has been set but don't be surprised if you see these pop up during the coming fall/winter 2013 season.

Stay tuned to n-sb for more info regarding this release.

    More kicks

    Too many kicks now

Clash of the Kicks Bruce Lee Edition: Nike Zoom Kobe 5 vs. Nike Kobe 9 EM
March 28, 2014 By Juan Martinez

    Image: @gc911
Kobe Bryant is a man of culture and sophistication. That much is evident in the kicks that he wears. Instead of trying reinvent a classic that already works, he refines what he already feels is the pinnacle – his shoes – and iterates upon that year after year. He believes that once he himself is satisfied, then the people will follow. That is why despite the aesthetic similarities between his signature shoes, we buy into it because he believes in it. It’s the circle of “buying the same shoes… again.”

Bryant also makes no bones about who has influenced him through the years. He loves the fine arts, reads comic books and takes in a grindhouse flick because he is a eternally curious person. One of those influences is Bruce Lee, the legendary martial artist/actor. For the Nike Zoom Kobe 5, the “Bruce Lee” channels the iconic jumpsuit that Lee wore when he faced off against the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in “Game Of Death” along with the three cuts on the right shoe that represent the memorable hits he took in “Enter The Dragon.”

The Nike Kobe 9 EM “University Gold” (which some are calling “Kung-Fu” so as to avoid the dreaded “giving a shoe the same nickname as another one just because they’re kinda have the same colors” scenario) does not have the obvious homages to Lee but it is hard not to look at the Kobe 9 – especially with those red stitches on the heel – and not think of the Nike Zoom Kobe 5. So let’s get it out on in the open and see what the people think. Check out the images below and let us know what you think in the comments as to which one of these you would rock or if you already have the Kobe 5 and think the Kobe 9 EM can live up to its high standards.

I just split this off into its own indie thread

The two above were originally posted in our Bruce-Lee-Memorials. I thought there were more.

Bruce Lee x BAIT x Onitsuka Tiger Corsair "Jeet Kune Do"

One half of BAIT’s nod to Bruce Lee’s 75th birthday.

BAIT is celebrating the late Bruce Lee’s 75th birthday with an exclusive collaboration alongside Onitsuka Tiger and now we have a look at the first sneaker from the endeavor. Coming in the form of the classic Corsair (the kicks Lee famously donned in Game of Death), the “Jeet Kune Do” takes cues from the philosophy of the iconic martial artist. Coupling luxurious black suede with premium navy leather, the design pays homage to the classic kung fu uniform donned by Lee and many grandmasters alike as it sports an engraved dragon motif throughout. Finally, gold debossing decorates both heels as Lee’s iconic “Kickman” logo appears.

Finished with custom insoles and three sets of laces, the “Jeet Kune Do” will be available at BAIT’s Los Angeles, Seattle, San Francisco and Hong Kong pop-up locations November 27 for $120 USD. Those interested in purchasing the kicks online can enter a raffle here.

Stay tuned for an in-depth look at the collaboration’s second pair of kicks — a “Legend” edition of the Colorado — this Friday, November 20.

    And part 2...

    I like these shoes better.

Bruce Lee x BAIT x Onitsuka Tiger Colorado Eighty-Five "Legend"

Part 2 of BAIT’s nod to Bruce Lee’s 75th birthday.

Hot on the heels of yesterday’s “Jeet Kune Do” unveiling comes the second half of BAIT and Onitsuka Tiger’s nod to the 75th anniversary of the late Bruce Lee. Dubbed the “Legend,” the second release comes in the form of Onitsuka Tiger’s old school Colorado Eighty-Five. A nod to Bruce Lee’s final film, the kicks come decked out in Game of Death‘s infamous yellow and black — a tribute to the iconic jumpsuit and Corsair Lee sported in the flick — as a premium nubuck upper is paired with leather stripes, a speckled sole and special branding throughout.

Like the “Jeet Kune Do,” the “Legend” is due out November 27 at BAIT’s Los Angeles, Seattle, San Francisco and Hong Kong pop-up locations while those interested in purchasing the kicks online can enter a raffle here.

    Even more kicks

The Nike Kobe 11 Bruce Lee Releases Next Month
    By JuanofaKind - Feb 28, 2016

A few days ago we gave you a first look of the Nike Kobe 11 Bruce Lee. Today we get to see detailed shots of the shoe alongside a dope Bruce Lee action figure to go along with the theme of the shoe.

This Bruce Lee version of the Nike Kobe 11 will come constructed out of a yellow Flyknit upper that’s inspired by the bodysuit that Bruce Lee wore in “The Game of Death”. The yellow Flyknit gradually turns into a black Flyknit as you go further down the shoe. Adding to the theme of the shoe, red scratch marks that symbolize Bruce Lee’s wounds in the movie “Enter the Dragon” appear on the heel of the shoe. A black sole unit, tongue and Nike Swoosh make an appearance, while yellow laces and red Kobe branding on the tongue complete the aesthetics of the shoe. Set to release March 19th for $200, is this one of the best colorways that we’ve seen on the Nike Kobe 11?

    Author’s Take

I’m not even a Bruce Lee fan, but these are hard! I love yellow sneakers and the branding on the heel gives the shoe a nice pop. This will be my first pair of Kobe 11s.
There are more pix if you follow the link. I'm just not that into shoe porn.
