I recently met with an old classmate of mine who showed me his latest acquisition, a book titled Bowflex-ercise by George Baselice. He was very excited about it. What immediately caught my attention was that it offered a 12 week program. That was different from the 6 weeks results promise offered by the Bowflex people. Apparently, the author was asked to put together a training manual for the Bowflex and then went the other way and stood by the book published by Ellington Darden. The book looked very interesting. It also offered a training routine that incorporate free weight training. That was eyebrow raising. When I got home I went to the net to see what the buzz was about this book and ended up at amazon. I noticed that someone also saw the 12 week vs 6 week difference. Overall most of the reviews were positive. I mention it here for those who may know someone who uses the Bowflex.
