Credits say Ryu Kuze was the main sword coordinator . Seagal likes to take credit for everything. He probably went around telling everyone that. Half truth. Most likely the empty hand stuff was all him. He probably assisted in the sword work.

I have no doubt that he did the sword work too BUt the empty hand is 100% him, it sticks out like a sore thumb ( the aikido that is).
