Da Pai Ba "Big Swatting Rake", Shuang Yue Jin Qian Feng Chi Tang "Double Moon Golden Coin Phoenix Wing Polearm", Lan Ma Jue dui Gun "Horse Tether Pegs vs Staff"
Demonstrated by the late master San Zui Shou "Three Drunken Hands" Hou Zhiyin of Xuzhou, 72 at time of filming.
Master Hou Zhiyin was very famous in Jiangsu martial arts, he helped to set up many martial arts schools in Jiangsu in the 1950's and 60's and was famous for his skill in forms and fighting.
Hou Zhiyin was the successor of Wang Hengpei of Tengzhou county Shandong.
Wang Hengpei was a well known 4th generation inheritor of Tengzhou Shaolin Da Hong Quan. While still young he became known in Shandong and Jiangsu for his skill in fighting. Because of the many challenge matches he won at a young age he gained the name Xiao Ba Wang (little warlord). Later in life he worked as head guard and martial arts instructor at the famous Jin Yuan BiaoJu (Jin Yuan Security Bureau) in Suzhou.
In his younger years Hou Zhiyin studied under Wang Hengpei in Suzhou learning his complete system of Tengzhou Da Hong Quan which included many weapons forms he had learned in his years working as a Biaotou.
Later Hou returned to his native Xuzhou and began to actively teach this style of martial arts.
In a short period he had gained a reputation both for the large number of forms he knew using various weapons as well as his skills in fighting.
He became a well known figure in mid 20th century Jiangsu martial arts circles helping to establish many schools in Jiangsu and actively helping to arrange tournaments and martial arts exhibitions.
This school of Da Hong Quan was originally disseminated in Tengzhou county in southern Shandong. Today it is still practiced in Tengzhou and neighboring counties where it has split into several branches.
