He is no longer affiliated with WT organizations. He has earned himself a bit of a reputation as a rebel. -He doesn't deal well with; bureacracies, rules, politics, and people trying to tell him what he can, or can't do.
I'm not sure the above phone number is still valid, but you can just look up his home phone in the good ole telephone book and ask him if he's currently teaching. -Or if his home# is unlisted, he should be in the yellow pages under attorneys (his profession.)
He's a funny and smart individual, as well as a good guy to train with.
I don't think Wing Chun is so limited that I can't do it when I wrestle, box, kickbox, or fight by MMA rules, nor am I so limited a student that I can't improve by training in each of those forums. -Andrew S
A good instructor encourages his students to question things, think for themselves and determine their own solutions to problems. They give advice, rather than acting as a vehicle for the transmission of dogma.

I don't normally feel the need to add my $.02 to everything, but I've heard on another forum that there was someone who was potentially interested in training with him that was trying to reach him through his former organization, but the organization refused to let this person know his number because he's no longer paying monthly fees to them.Originally posted by canglong

I just thought I'd explain another side of the story, if someone, by chance, called the former organization and heard something akin to a "political smear".

I've known Sifu Brad Ryan for years. He was hard hit by Harvey. Here's a fundraiser that one of his students has set up:
For more on Harvey and our community, see also Houston Shaolin Schools?.Sifu Ryan Hurricane Relief Fund
My name is Johnathan Graves and I am setting up this page to help my long time friend and teacher Brad Ryan who lives in Katy, Tx with his wife and 2 children. Brad has been a local bussiness owner and community leader for over 10 years. He owns Meng's Martial Arts of Katy where he teaches children and adults Kung Fu. His wife is a theatre teacher. He was very fortunate to be rescued during Hurricane Harvey and made it through uninjured however the flooding destroyed most of his possesions and left his home a disaster zone. He lost both vehicles as well. Anything that can be contributed is a blessing. ALL of the funds raised will go towards the cost of getting his home back to livable conditions.
Help spread the word!
