Fans looking forward to the screen return of Chilean action star, actor Marko Zaror (Kiltro, Redeemer) can rest their hopes now in the current Thailand production, Invincible. Daniel Zirilli (The Asian Connection) is producing and directing the film for what looks to be the first in a shared multi-pic slate with producer Doug Price via his D3 Telefilm banner and Zirilli’s Popart Film Factory.

Variety broke the story this week announcing actor Johnny Strong (The Fast And The Furious, Sinners and Saints) to lead the cast in the role of Cam Devore, the head of security for a billionaire-backed black site being used to test an inventor’s latest strides in nano-technology. Zaror will star as Brock Cortez, one of the military applicants used for the experiment who Devore is tasked with tracking down when Cortez escapes.

Invincible will further reunite Zaror with Savage Dog co-star, actor Vladmir Kulich who joins in as Colonel John Taylor who enlists the billionaire inventor, Leor Teska, to apply his studies with developer Dr. Quade. ’71 actor Paul Kennedy will play Teska with actress Sally Kirkland in the role of Quade.

Strong was last reported earlier on for a franchise reboot of William Kaufman’s 2010 action thriller, Sinners And Saints, alongside martial arts action star Scott Adkins. That project is currently still in development.

Price and Zirilli last collaborated on Grindstone/Lionsgate’s 2010 crime thriller, Locked Down, which starred Tony Schiena opposite Vinnie Jones. The two now have up to four more screenplays to apply their craft in action/adventure titles with Zirilli in a first look deal as director.

Kaos Entertainment is overseeing production services for the film.
