    Reality Check for Olympic Taekwondo star - beaten and bloodied by Irish sreet thugs

    Taekwondo star Jack Woolley, who recently returned to Ireland after competing at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, had been enjoying a night with friends when things took a sudden turn. He revealed that he had been attacked by a group of "random junkies" which has left him needing hospital treatment.

    I used to attend a Taekwondo club for a while but after being spinning reverse-elbowed in the face and hook kicked to the head in sparring I realised I needed to learn a more defence-oriented system: Wing Chun, which I find works!
