HONG KUEN 1992 Hong Kong Parts One and Two

    Greetings,

The following is a rare glimpse of TCMA from 1992. The fist link shows empty hand performance. The one that follows is weapons. I am so deeply impressed by the internal foundation that is displayed that I no longer view Hung Gar as an "external style". NEVER AGAIN! I remember reading an article by Sigung Patrick Hodges that spoke about the difficulty of going from southern to northern styles. With the foundation displayed here, they can come up north ANYTIME. I have met people who did just that and faired really well. Enough talk, already. Enjoy!!!

Great tiger fork form! Interesting moves on the straight sword form that look like wiping off blood. Someone please explain to me the real applications of those moves. Some of the forms though I can almost hear my instructor reprimanding me not to use the weight of my head tilting!
