I was looking at Facebook Marketplace in Taiwan and came across this listing for vintage Shaolin erasers made in Japan. I thought it was neat.

I was looking at Facebook Marketplace in Taiwan and came across this listing for vintage Shaolin erasers made in Japan. I thought it was neat.

Looks like they are from back in the day (when they used to do more animal forms rather than all sorts of karate looking forms they do these days).

They still do all those forms depicted here although some of those animal imitatives are xinwushu.
