Smile Two versions of Qi Qong Training

In this world of Qi Qong or chi kung, there are 2 versions.

The moving chi kung or you can call it moving meditation.
Because,as you're moving through your moving chi kung exercises, you're actually meditating at the same time.
And through this process, you feel the relationships between your mind, body, and spirit.

The other version of chi kung is the standing meditation.
Where you stand like a post, being rooted
    to the ground.
As you're standing in a standing meditation position, all you are doing is looking straight, and that's the mental side of the meditation right there.

These 2 chi kung exercises are all good to learn and to practice,to strenghten your body internally.
And also to enhance long life.
Although,we are going to get old as times goes by for us .
The practice of the moving and standing medtation will prevent us from aging to fast.

After you are done practicing your chi kung exerises.
Regardless of standing or moving meditation.
What you need to do is to practice your kung fu moves,to take out the chi or internal energy out of your body.
Because,if you keep the chi in your body and not take it out,it'll damage your body internally.
Other than that the moving or standing chi gung exercises are all good exercises,to enhance better health and well being.

So then practicing kung fu kills us.

If you guys hadn't told me, I'd have kept practicing until I died.

Woliveri, there is both dirty chi and clean chi.
The dirty chi is being taken out, when you practice kung fu after you do you chi kung training.
While the dirty chi is being replace by the clean chi.
Because,in order for your chi to flow within you,you should be relaxed.
So the clean chi is still in your body, but you 're mainly getting rid of the dirty chi.

    Denaly,

We're all going to die anyway oneday.

What kung fu does is slow down our aging
    process.

So that we won't get old too fast.

Kung fu does'nt kill you,it helps keep

    you young.

Even in reality we're all going to get

    old anyway.

But kung fu helps us to get healthy and

    enhances our wellbeing.

If kung fu would kill us,I would'nt have

    practice it,anyway.

Feluk, you didn't say dirty qi in your first post. You just said Qi or "chi" to be more specific.

    Removing "Dirty Qi"

Whats has been said is not completely correct. Depending on what type of Qi Gong one practices, one will be able to expel Bin Qi (Sick Qi) in the midst of practice. There is no need to do a seperate exercise afterwards to rid oneself of Sick Qi at all. In fact a lot of Standing Qi Gongs are used to circulate AND expel sick Qi at the same time. I have never heard of doing Kung Fu to expell sick Qi ever!! In fact from what my friend says its more likely to create more depending on how tense ones training is. If one has closed or enveloping postures then one is simply circulating and re-issuing Qi back into the body, however if , for example, one stands in a push or punch posture (Taiji that is) and directs their intent outwards, then one can expell sick Qi in that way.
