Hello,

I am wondering if anyone can help with a form I learned some time ago. It goes by the name of either "Cheung Kuen" (Long Journey Fist), or "Sam Lohan Kuen" (Three Monk Fist).

It is very long - very complex too. The first three moves are rotating hooks and straight punches. It also has some groundwork, and two rotating downward "bear-paw" sequences. I thought it was a Southern Mantis form, but no one seems to recognize it - recently, I was told (by a Southern Mantis authority), that it resembles more of a Northern Mantis set.

Anyway, I love this set, but would sure like to understand where it came from! Can anyone help with this?

Thanks Kindly!
