    GDA, appreciate your comments.

My expectation was that a jealous person's lies about my motivation and acts would not prevail. The assumption that no defense was needed cause, after all, these were lies. I waited for someone else who knew to put the matter to rest. Yup, everything would work out and honesty would prevail. My naivete was stunning.

Honesty is a component of character, not a substitute for knowing what to do or say at the right time.. One can say and do honestly, but the silent presence of honesty and modesty alone will not carry you. unbelievable that I would have thought so.
You are correct. Honesty is a reason to respect self. I assumed too much. am emerging with a different mindset and better outlook. known as learning the hard way. I feel better than I have in a long time. now if I only can get my body to work.

    Crush my enemies.

    See them driven before me.

Hear the lamentations of their women.
