    Get my next book started...

...actually, my next book won't be a martial arts one, but writing and martial arts are my two primary practices so it's hard for me to distinguish between them sometimes - wen wu yi qi !

Martially speaking, I hope to keep us in print for another five years and to continue to develop our web platforms.

Pick up my training again (yearly tradition, I slack off the last couple weeks of December).

    Find a new job.

    Find a new home.

Continue the forward trek, look back only for reference.

2 months ago I switched gyms to the MMA Lab. Now that I'm training with world champion fighters and coaches it should get me steps closer to my ultimate goal.

Information Technology. BS in IT, MS in Information System Engineering, and starting my comps in January for my PhD in IT, focusing on IA and security.

Good for you, man. I doubt I'll ever go beyond masters. People have tried to talk me into it, but I dunno. Maybe if I could do post grad at MIT or some other "can't pass up" type of school. I don't have anyone paying my bills tho. So, you know. I don't have my Bach yet, so I try not to overthink that shit. I'm just an engineer, I solve real life problems and I'm totally satisfied with that. Particle physics is just a hobby for me.

I wish I had been more into computers as a kid. I should have learned to write code when I was 12. Alas, it was not so. But I was building stuff. Always have. Moving electronics always came pretty easy, so it seemed like a natural course to take.

I imagine you get school paid for. That's sweet. That route is not for me, but good for you all the same.

IA as in Information architecture? Considering your job and the other courses, that's gotta be it, yes? Managing data for security yes?
