Typical southern shaolin kung fu. Famous for a few reasons. Wong Fei Hung (a legendary master), mo ying guek (no shadow kick), fu hok seung ying (tiger and crane form), and many other reasons. Most of these topics have been discussed in detail in the past history of the forum. Emphasis is on tough/strong forearms and shins, low kicks, lots of hand techniques, good horse stance, and a firm waist.

It's only as good or as powerful as the person practicing it.

    Re: Hung Ga

Yes, Hung Ga is a powerful style, provided you practice consistently & correctly. Hung Ga will develop your whole body - especially your legs & forearms. You will learn to love stance training.

Yes, I am the one who writes for my Sifu's catolog. As far as word goes, my brother "O" and I correct him every chance we get. I do not know what his problem is with my Sifu but his slanders do not go unreplied by us.
