Does anyone train at the Hung Gar School in Hawaii near Kalihi?
This is on th island of Oahu.

You mean Kong's Sil Lum Pai Kung Fu Association.
I'm not involved with the school.but
my best friend , use to be involved with the school.
They teach hung gar and choy li fut.
They also had a student name Seng Au, who also branched off from the kalihi school and went on his own.
Sifu Bucksam Kong has quite a repuation in Hawaii.
My friend was involved when Sifu Mak Hin Fai was teaching at that time.
Then they branched off from eachother and went their seperate ways.
As times went by I met some people who use to belong to that school.

Are you a student of the school ?
How long have you been training with the school ?
I'm from Hawaii to myself.
But the Sil Lum pai school is growing all over the Honolulu areas though.

I think the school you have mentioned is the one I am speaking of. Buck Sam Pong sounds like the name of the Sifu. I am not from Hawaii, but my girl is and we just got back from a 10 day trip there(stayed in Kalihi). I learned that one of her uncles is a teacher/instructor there and has over 20yrs of Hung Gar under his belt. He is a very kind and upstanding gentlemen. His last name is Bautista, he is older maybe late 30's or so on(dont want to offend him We spoke for a while at the family barbecue and he was very familiar with my style(CLF) I am going back in may and will probably do some training with his school. Do you know of him? Do they have a CLF program there?Do you know about their training program?

I see you are from Aiea, you might know my bro's that moved to the Bay. Junn B. and Shunn P., they are from Aiea. From what I understand, everyone knows everyone.
