    Smile Yang Jwing Ming

Yang Jwing Ming is a high level instructor and I can say that because I attended the same seminar TaiChi Bob did in Hollywood, Florida. I feel he teaches his courses at college level;you pay attention and you learn. As for his books, they are a good foundation for a beginning/advanced student. The fists exercises,in the book you mention, are very good. His video on Qigong is very educational.Train hard and train well.

    I second that,

I attended a seminar of his on Taiji Qigong, and it really put some things together for me. He is a very skilled but down-to-earth guy. The books, however, are more supplemental to the training than anything. If you're really interested in his qigong, either go to one of his seminars in Boston, or find out when he's doing one somewhere close to you. He travels virtually constantly, so you should be able to find a seminar that isn't too far for you to travel.

2017 GM Live: Dr. Yang, Jwing-Ming

Unfortunately, there was a lighting fail at the end of Dr. Yang's demonstration, even with the professional union lighting person that we hired.

Great books. I have many of them. Some are the only English translations of material that are out there, so they should be good. I would rather read these books than watch any movie...
