theres this lady named Shelley Huang that teaches Wahlum in a park pretty close to my house. Does anyone know if she's any good?

I haven't seen Shelly's Kung Fu for a long
time but I suspect it's good. She has been
in Wah Lum for a long time and would know a
great deal about the system. If you're a
beginner in martial arts then she would have
enough to keep you training for many years
to come. If you're experienced in the MA
and have a good foundation, I would suggest
trying to learn from her husband Wai Lun Houng <spelling?>. He practices Lo Hup Ba Fa
and when I've seen him demonstrate it's been
fantastic. The downside is he is quite
expensive.

How much does Shelly charge to teach in a
park? It seems in Florida the weather would
put a limit on classes (rain, lightening,
etc).

Shelly teaches for free if you go on a regular basis and stick with it. if you start slacking off, then she'll start charging you 5 bucks a class

Your kidding??? Wow, I'd go suck that up as
fast as I could. That has to be the best
deal in town. Your lucky. I don't know what
the price is at the Temple or other schools
but I'm sure it's close to 60.00 per month
or above. Yeah, man, jump on it.

yeah im gonna go check her out today. ive asked a few people and theyve also told me that she's one of Chan Poi's top students. the thing is that im having a hard time deciding whether to leave my school or not. my sifu (Steve Chin) is a good teacher, but he learned "Bak Shaolin Eagle Claw" from Leung Fu. And even though there are a million good Bak Shaolin Eagle Claw fighters, its still not pure eagle claw. and i do like Wahlum,so its a pretty hard decision

house down there. How about Shelley's
husband, he's not teaching for free is he?
I'd have to move down there right quick if
that was so. Have you investigated his
class fee?
