Hi,

I was also told by a Southern Fists teacher, whose main style is CLF, that - Fat Ga could be "any" style associated with a Buddhist monk, including the Lama that is credited with bringing Lions Roar to southern China.

This is why the monk's name would be important, yet sadly, was often not considered unless a close relationship was established.

We were discussing whether the Fat Gar that made up a part of CLF could have come from the same monk (or one of his students) that is credited with Lions Roar in SC.
