A new world record for the largest Wing Chun display has been set in Sichuan, Chengdu, China following a breathtaking display of the martial art.

The attempt, which took place earlier this month, involved 10,021 participants and was achieved by the Sichuan Southwest Vocational College of Civil Aviation.Largest Wing Chun display
Wing Chun is a form of self-defence utilising both striking and grappling while specialising close-range combat.

The attempt marked the opening of Wing Chun courses at the college to promote the martial art.

A spokesperson for Sichuan Southwest Vocational College of Civil Aviation, said, “The successful challenge for the Guinness World Records title makes Wing Chun more popular, and I hope it will now become popular around the world”.

The attempt beat the previous record of 3,000 people set by a community in Guangdong, China.

Shaolin could beat this record if they were so inclined. I'm surprised Taguo hasn't applied.
