I wish I knew 5 or 6 years ago what I know now.

1. Strength matters
2. Size matters
3. When one hand punches, the other hand guards your face, and not your hip.
4. Staying flat footed will get you owned.
5. Cool looking fighting techniques do not work in real fights
6. Standing in one place will get you owned
7. Iron body techniques that require time to prepare before you get hit are useless in a fight, unless your opponent tells you where he's going to hit you, and lets you prepare.
8. Any technique that is based off of your opponent punching and leaving his arm out there for you to do your technique on is useless in a fight
9. Ground fighting knowledge is essential
10. Standing with your side facing your opponent gives you one only arm and one leg to attack with.

Oh man I'm turning into a NHB/MMA b.itch
