This thread is intended to share the history of the Hung Mun, both good and bad. As well as discuss what the Hung Mun is doing today. The Hung Mun secret society has been around for hundreds of years and is also recognized by Western Freemansons as Chinese Freemasons. For the longest time, the Hung Mun Ghee Kung Tong has fought for their right to use the "Freemason Symbol."
Just as in any similar type of organization, including Western Freemasons, you have good and bad elements. The history of the Hung Mun is an incredible read filled with symbolism,drama,death and struggle, triumph and perserverence.
