True. But I will also say I firmly believe that this is the parents, and not the school's, responsibility to teach this.

How do you define the 'separation of church and state'?

FYI, I have trouble understanding the meaning of it because it is never mentioned in the Constitution.
I've tried, but my words apparently have been inadequate.

It is not about limiting the free religious expression of individuals, even those who are high profile members of the government.

It is about preventing the government, any government (federal, state, local) from making laws or rules that force or even encourage people to participate in any religious activity.

LMAO at you providing atheism.com as links.

I should have been more specific. Please provide links to Constitutional law sites, University law departments, or something very similar.

Actually, it's about.com, and their section on atheism.

'Hair Plugs' Biden is using his religion to influence lawmakers about pending legislation.

"Vice President Joseph Biden, a practicing Catholic, is using his faith and his position to try and help convince those in Congress who have fears about the health care legislation and federal funding of abortion to vote for the bill.

Biden says that he understands there’s disagreement but he has reached out to those who are worried to help convince them.

Biden says he’s always supported the Hyde amendment and he’s certain that once the bill passes the issue won’t be as toxic, even within the Catholic Church. “I'm confident even the bishops, once this bill is passed and see how it operates, are not going to have the concern any longer,” Biden told Tapper.

These are the same bishops who, during the 2008 campaign, said Biden should not receive communion over his abortion stance."

San, be sure to show us all the copy of the e-mail you send Biden telling him about this assault on the "Separation of Church and State" please.

Looks like you have two e-mails to write now

And you can contact Pelosi too, San.

Here is Pelosi praying to St Joseph to pass healthcare:

Wow, praying to a Saint so you can pass legislation that allows Federal money to go to abortions. They truly have no shame.

If you had a CLUE you'd know neither of those examples have anything to do with the "separation of church and state". Is there an amendment in the BILL that says anything about religion? ANY LAWS RULES MANDATES ABOUT RELIGION?!

AGAIN the "separation of church and state" does NOT mean members of the government can't express their religious beliefs, they just can't make it LAW.

    Get off that.

We all know if Bush had publicly prayed that a voucher bill would pass Congress, you would be fit to be tied.

Fmr President Bush also said that god said we were right about Iraq. While it makes me uneasy to know that he was guided by voices in his head, he was, given the information provided to him, still making the right decision.

So you can't say for sure God didn't guide him to make the right decision, can you?

Why does it bother you anyway? Patton prayed for the weather to clear while he was rushing to relieve Bastogne. He even awarded the Chaplain who said the prayer a Bronze Star after the weather indeed cleared.

Ok... then... why are you contradicting yourself?
