Thing that I like about this clip:
- Use downward elbow instead of horizontal elbow (harder to block it).
- Raise leg first, then snape it.
- Use your body to pull your leg.
- Without target, you can't stand right.
- Waist target is an excellent idea.
- Put hand next to the face as target.
- Kick over a bench.
- In head level roundhouse kick, kee pass your opponent's head.
- In head level roundhouse kick, go up and then cut 45 degree downward.
- Add I-Shi breathing into your kick.
- Skip back leg, pass front leg, kick front leg.
- Raise your knee then move in circle. Kick and move in circle.
- Use outside arm to block kick and use inside arm to catch it.
- Roundkick at your opponent's back outside upper leg, inside and outside of the front upper leg.

Very good vid. Someone earlier mentioned about current shin conditioning used in Thailand, I too wish it was gone over a bit more in this vid. But awesome vid no less.
http://vixy.net/index.php i used this. downloaded program and it has an interface in your web browser to download video. after i downloaded the movie i removed program.
A BJJ player and notorious pimp, Da Big Deezy, in the Crenshaw district tried to "raise up" and "slap a ho" ..... I impaled him with my retractible naginata. I wish there were more groundfighters in the world. They make my arsenal that much more deadly. - john takeshi

the only problem with the front push kick is its easy to turn off/sewwp aside and then if grappling is invloved you cant sprawl so the shots easier, actually i believe the seeping aside defence is used alot in thai against the kick
but i agree its a good technique and much under used in MMA
sorry guess i should have said more. program seems fine. it puts an interface on the toolbar of your browser. i just dont want more clutter on my screen thats all. plus i try to have as least amount of stuff on my computer as i can thats all. i ran it and seems perfectly safe though.

Greetings,
Frost,
I will use Tae Kwon D as an example.
The kicking methods of early Tae Kwon Do practitioners of the '60's and '70's are radically different from those of present day practitioners. Back then, the kicks were trained to stop someone dead, if not kill them. The flashy 540 degree type kicks did not exist back them. The kicks that were drilled were:
Front snap Kick (ball of foot, instep came later)
Side Thrust Kick (blade of foot)
Roundhouse Kick (ball of foot and instep)
Back Kick
Spinning Heel Kick (body held upward)
And they were not all kickers either, Their hands were something else.
These aforementioned kicks were seriously trained to do serious damage. Today, the emphasis is different. I have seen TKD players throw a kick only to fall because they made impact.
So when I say I have not seen the real thing when it comes to Thai boxing, I am not trying to start anything. I am telling it true. I have not. I would sure love to. That way I can see the evolution or de evolution of the art.

Not entirely true in the killing art book choi was trying to get his guys to leap over someones head and kick them in the back of the cranium before they landed. Even slapped someone for saying it was impossible. Those fantastical kicks started coming into the picture pretty quick.
we have seen peoples legs break from thai kicks, we have seen limbs fractured, and permanent life long damage as well

Hi goju,
There were other Kwans besides that put forth by Choi. And I would not say that all of them loved him.

It is bias to think that the art of war is just for killing people. It is not to kill people, it is to kill evil. It is a strategem to give life to many people by killing the evil of one person.
