Wing Chun System
Wing Chun is upright fighting style. WC does have grappling or take downs and take down avoidance techniques. But yet and still it is not ground fighting art. Cross training in ground fighting would be ideal for sports fighting...But not doing upright fighting at all just focus purely on ground fighting is better than cross training...its better to be a master at one than jack of all trades and master at none...
A pure ground fighter is gonna be stronger than stand up fighter who dibbles and dabbles in bjj from time to time! A Pure Boxer or Pure Muay Thai guy is gonna be far better a stand up fighter than a BJJ Guy who dibbles and dabbles in MT and Boxing or WC from time to time!
WC can only be tested by Stand up fighting with street fighting rules. WC was tried and tested in the Beimo...on roof tops. That's where WC shines at.
MMA guy fighting outside of the cage or UFC would not fair well with Point fighting rules, Kick Boxing Rules, Boxing rules, Kyoshukin Rules, or even chi sau or push hands rules!!!!
The games are totally different. An much of MMA guys tools would be negated!!!
Imagine a MMA guy in the Tae Kwon Do Olympics....He is unable punch, grapple, take down with his hands, shoot, or even clinch. He can only do high kicks to score points?
How would your average MMA guy do in Tae Kwon Do Olympic round, or Tai Chi Push hands round or WC Chi Sau Round?
The Flow is relentless like a raging ocean with crashing waves devasting anything in its path.
"Kick Like Thunder, Strike Like Lighting, Fist Hard as Stones."
"Wing Chun flows around overwhelming force and finds openings with its constant flow of forward energy."
"Always Attack, Be Aggressive always Attack first, Be Relentless. Continue with out ceasing. Flow Like Water, Move like the wind, Attack Like Fire. Consume and overwhelm your Adversary until he is No More"
