Sh1t, fight didn't happen. I had 3 guys on this card, and just as the bell was about to ring to start the first fight, the power in the Casino went out.

We were standing around for 2 hours, still no power. When some of the coaches complained, the Kiowa Boxing Commission (Casino is on Tribal land) started kicking them out and forcing their fighters to forfeit. so we packed up and left.

    F@cking fiasco.

When you get household name status, I think you'll be throwing that in my face. Heck, if you get one of your guys in a magazine more than a few times I can imagine you'll be shoving helpings of crow into the hat I'll have to eat. lol

I've never heard of such a preposterous reason for a fight to be cancelled. Does this happen a lot at this casino?

The casino circuit out here is too complicated to follow - too many micro-leagues.

First time it's happened to us. We've fought there a few times.

But, they didn't cancel the fight, we walked out because the boxing commission had us standing in an alley outside for 2 hours and wouldn't let us leave because everyone was already taped up and inspected.

I dunno if the lights ever came back on.

They got the lights on about 10:30. By then, I heard there were only enough people left for 4 fights.
