I didn't get that far into the site. Glad I didn't now.

Thanks for jumping on that space mine, Samwise85.

That being said, the dark side is clearly fascist.

That's definitely true Gene, but the dude that started the site goes further, noting that the Third Reich was the first real attempt at "Endarkment" (their term for their philosophical end goals) in history. That was the argument that really creeped me out.

I rarely get creeped out by deluded idiots.

I do find them somewhat amusing at times though.

But here's a messed up fact. In the star wars fan fiction mythology which ties it all together as you may know, the Sith are actually the good guys and the Jedi are nothing but a hand wringing bunch of goody goodies who don't realize that their peacenik ways are going to get their entire galaxy destroyed by the Yuuzhan Vong.

All do respect to his films, some of which I love. George Lucas is a douchebag.

    For archival sake...

...it's worthy of note that this weirdness is going on at the same time that our Star Wars Episode 7 thread has been active with it's own weirdness. I got a bad feeling about this.

Maybe our forum member Lucas is George. That would explain a few things for sure.

Heh, yeah maybe its all a viral campaign designed by Disney to hype Episode seven.

@ Jameson. That's really interesting, I never got too far into the extended universe beyond the Galactic Civil War (loved the Rogue Squadron books), but I could see the Sith acting as anti-heros of sorts being rather compelling.

That's funny. I like KFM Lucas. I think he would make a great Sith Lord. The job requires that Lucas style of absurd humour! Eventually he'll turn on Bawang and take his on own apprentice.

I never got into the books

I keep thinking I should pick one up at the used bookstore, but I read so much already that Star Wars pulp just doesn't hold that much appeal.
