The same "giant red warning" on all 5 computers then presumably all 5 computers were running Avast. No one else that we know of reported an issue and all of a sudden all 5 computers no longer get the warning.

There have been numerous times when I could not access the forum over the last few weeks. I simply knew it was not about me.

Wherever people are confronted with their own ignorance, they will attempt to fill that void with whatever supposition seems to fit their world view.

So, obviously, lacking any sort of information or understanding of computer viruses and malware, or for that matter modern operating systems, definitions files in software, firewall actions etc it has to be the fault of someone or something else.

We get 'viruses' all the time. It's the interwebs. We get complaints all the time too. However, only you would come back with a thread titled 'I'm back (so run and hide)' and then claim you were away because of the viruses and find fault with admin because they 'didn't admit it'. Did the other two on this very thread do that? Was there some sort of official viral denial on our part sparking this paranoid delusion of yours? It's our fault that our freely access forum set off your virus alerts and there was some massive cover-up so we could sell more nunchuks or something?
