The first rule of 'Zombie Fight Club'..?

It's not so much martial-arts training as 'Braiiiiiiin-ing' in Andy On and Philip Ng's latest: the kill or be killed / undead Zombie Fight Club...

The first rule of Zombie Fight Club is You do not talk about Zombie Fight Club... the second rule of Zombie Fight Club is.. you must eat your opponents' brains!

Andy On and Phillip Ng get to outdo Brad Pitt and Edward Norton in the wonderfully titled Zombie Fight Club which just wrapped production in Taiwan. It’s the end of the Century, at a corner of the city in a building riddled with crime. Everyone in the building has turned into zombies. After Jenny’s boyfriend was killed in a zombie attack, she faces the challenge of surviving in the face of adversity. In order to stay alive she struggles with Andy to flee danger. The originally kind and warm hearted chemistry teacher is now the zombie leader and has transformed into a cruel, vicious character.

Violent activists match prisoners against zombies in a malicious killing game, the good side of humanity has seemingly all but vanished. Now that all order is lost, how will humans create a new century? A world of uncertainty awaits : The end? Hope? Or death?

On and Ng’s friendship and onscreen partnership dates back to Star Runner, and has seen the two of them appearing together in such projects as Star Runner or Kumite as it was called in certain countries, New Police Story, Dragon Squad, Once Upon A Time In Shanghai and more.

The film also stars the lovely Jessica C who survived the misfire that was Beach Spike, to deliver a solid turn in Double Trouble opposite Jaycee Chan (son of Jackie)and Michael Wong whose classic villainous turn opposite Brandon Lee in Legacy of Rage we’ll be revisiting soon. Another slice of recent Taiwanese Zombie action can be seen in Zombie 108. Philip Ng pulls double duty on the film as fight choreographer as well as co-lead, while Jo Chien helms the project produced by Paco Wong.
