As simple as ABC.
As simple as ABC.
If this is not "DNA " what is?
The positions definitely look similar. So do these:

And also these:

So we can all clearly see from these images that not only does Wing Chun have Crane DNA, but also...
Yip Man has John L. Sullivan's DNA (what was that frisky Irishman doing in Canton?), and...
Dolphins have shark DNA. It's obvious!
Hendrick, 1. Take note: the word is "Technique". 2. Please google Convergent Evolution or just look below:

Now, I'm not saying Hendrick is wrong. In fact I'll bet there is some connection with White Crane. And, with a lot of southern systems. Fighters, good ones anyway, tend to learn from their fights and the people they fight against. Anyway, I'd just like to see conjecture backed up with something a bit more concrete before you start using terms like "DNA".
He's Back!!! I knew he couldn't stay away!
I note you reference that of Master Su YingHan in your images. What connection and communication have you had with Master Su YingHan and his school?
I also note that you reference the Fang Qiniang Memorial statue as some form of "proof" of your theories? It is a relatively modern statue, not a written historical document outlining the Zhaoyang Hand form which another Fujian Crane stylist David Williams in reply to your question regarding same stated:
He also stated:Hi Hendrick,
I hope this uploads okay. Here is a picture from Ruan Dongs book of Fujian Crane. 'Paizhi', (fingers in a row), or 'flat palm' is a basic hand form in Calling Crane.
It's not exactly identical (little finger) , but having visited the statue a few times in Yongchung I think it possible that the sculptor be allowed some artistic license in order to make a strong cast....And .....Flat palm is used to block in most all forms, be it in any dimension. The Roujian demonstrates it's ability to strike in many ways.
Secondly and yet again I ask you exactly:My thoughts on the Zhaoyang ?, simply that it is a Chinese word with many meanings, a popular example being to 'welcome the sunrise'
1/. Have you ever physically trained in Baihequan? (a simple "Yes or No" answer will do thanks)
2/. If yes, what training have you had in the Baihequan tradition?
3/. Hendrik, why did you remove the thread about Sergio's statement mentioning Sifu Lee Kong in which you made some highly questionable claims and challenged the word and the reputation of Sifu Lee Kong???
Looking forward to your answers

Hendrik,
Will you issue a public apology here for calling Sifu Lee Kong and Sifu Yung liars?
It would be the only right thing to do!

Apologies aren't that WingChungy. That's one hella fist of fury, though, GlenR. LOL, and you know Bruce Lee had something to do with Wing Chun stuff, so... close enough.
He did study linguine, if that"s any help (distant relative of Chinese Noodles).

lol, this thread is soo funny - it made my sunday!
I guess if you are hendrik, all you have to do is look at a few pictures, say the first 3 letters of the alphabet and you have learned Yik Kam wing chun! Wow, that IS simple! I have a feeling the Cho family, along with the rest of the somewhat-sane wing chun community would fully disagree with him, but it sure is sounds simple when he puts it like that...
