    Chi Sim Weng Chun Kuen

    Sifu Hoffman,

I noticed on your website wengchun.net that you have lots of forms but you don't have the siu lim tao , chum kiu or the biu jee. Are these forms not in your system?

Yes, we in (Chi Sim/Siu Lum/Fung Siu Ching) Weng Chun Kuen donīt have Siu Lim Tao, Chum Kiu and Biu Chi in our system.

Sorry, I have less time for writing because Iīm teaching here a summer retreat with 20 masterstudents.

    Sifu Andreas Hoffman,

What's Kiu Sao in Jee Sim WCK?

  7. #7
Kiu Sau is the essence of weng chun kuen.
It is the concept to understand and use the various bridges in life, in combat for Chi exercises etc. We are connected (bridges)with everything.
In Weng Chun Qigong exercise you understand for example that you heart system have a bridge to the arm and hand.
In combat you always try to find a bridge to the centreline of your opponent, than you can use his power against him.
I think in "Yip Man Wing Chun" the second form "Chum Kiu" is the introduction into Kiu Sau.

    I hope this helps.
