Sorry, can't help a little tease!
It's from an old magazine back in England (Viz). Used similarly to
"nudge,nudge, wink, wink" or
"as the actress said to the bishop"
and other such favourites

Anything's possible. In my case, there are already enough things in the system that ensure my humility on an ongoing basis.Originally posted by teazer
Must be the small imperfection deliberately left in the system to assure our humility.

Hi Yung Chun,
Good points.Originally posted by YungChun
YGKYM is a training 'stance' and a fighting stance. Any stance in actual application is not static. YGKYM provides a base from which to work with - as does Chum Kui - YGKYM is uncomitted, strong, mobile, very flexible and offers no lead targets - is that enough benefits to take this seriously?
Wing Chun often flanks the enemy esp on intercept. From the outside - or pre-entry phase YGKYM is critical to giving the WC interceptor the option to shoot and flank either side of the attack - kick and flank with either leg or go down the middle - at which point one steps or shoots in - the YGKYM is gone and you have Chum Kui for 'seeking the bridge.'
IMHO there is nothing in the system that wasn't indended to be used and used well.

Mm Yan Chi Dai---The Cantonese expression Mm Yan Chi Dai, translates to "Misleading other people's children." The idiom is a reference to those teachers who claim an expertise in an art that they do not have and waste the time and treasure of others.

The stance in SNT or IRAS stance (Inverse Rotation Adduction Stance) is considered the ultimate stance in wing chun. This is becasue there is equaly weight in each leg so movbemtn back and forward is easily possible. Also it is a stable possition and allows easy transition to weight shifts and hand techniques.

Dont mistake a training stance with standing and moving when
action takes place.
Or, movement back & forth is equally difficult depending on one's point of view.Originally posted by UltimateFighter
This is because there is equaly weight in each leg so movement back and forward is easily possible.
