It's sad really.
My first MA experience was in a TKD School in
Durham NC. A Sherman Fog (or Fogg) was the instructor.
I remember a very no nonsence atmosphere and a very
common sense approach to self defense. He was the
very first person to tell me "Run, if you can. It's not worth
it even if you win the fight" I remember doing the first form
(poomsa??) with the 4 or 5 movements in each direction.
And really digging it at 13 years old.
