    breathing in NSL

    iron silk,

In NSL, breathing should be natural in the beginning stages and your body will adjust to your body movements. Never think about breathing (when to exhale vs inhale) while doing your sets. Concentrate on your movements only.

However, endurance is important when performing NSL or any CMA sets. So to improve your breathing endurance while doing your sets is simple. Force yourself to breath through your nose and place your tongue to the roof of your mouth.

Later you will find that your pace of your breathing will pace the rhythm of the set. Force yourself to move at a faster pace and your breathing will catch up to your movements. This will help your lung capacity increase with practice and in time.

After doing your set, continue to force yourself to breath through your nose until your breathing returns to normal.
