It depends. The forum is rather quiet on weekends, so I guess that affects the speed too. And if people are constantly spamming the boards with best girl polls, the mods are too busy keeping those threads under control and have very little time for new account activations. I think I got my account fixed in like a day or so.

New members are approved every working day. Some take a little longer if they don't fill out their membership application properly. Working day is defined as CA PST time and I usually do it in the morning, first thing while my tea is brewing...
