    Techniques following throws

I'm looking for examples of techniques immediately following throws.

For example, my opponent is on the ground after a shoulder throw, I have his right arm in my left hand, now what?

I'm particularly interested in shuai chiao, jujutsu, or aikido respones in this situation.

    1. Drop your knee on him
    2. BJJ arm bar
    3. Soccer kick to the head
    4. Stomp on them
    5. Punch them in the head
    6. Drop an elbow on them
    7. Stick your knife between their ribs
    8. Run

Aye, I contacted David Lin a while back, but where he teaches is like 30+ miles from where I live. I currently take judo with a former olympic judoka however.

I'm trying to document as many "off the throw" techniques as possible. I've done bagua for 9 years, and while I learned several throws/sweeps, I learned very few follow-up attacks. I'm particularly interested in locks of any kind.

Hop counter clockwise with the arm as the center like jumping over a fence while maintaining the wrist grip. use your foot to control the elbow as you go around.

You are falling~ not to do if you want a chance to save the arm/wrist/shoulder/hand/ upper section of the chest~.

Knee on chest, punches to the face, if they give you an arm... armbar.

Drop the knee on the chest (dead weight) and you don't usually need the punch to the face or the armbar

Stomp or knee to the collarbone and snap it.
I like the soccer kick to the head too, but shod foot kicks are
considered assault with a dangerous weapon where I live.

Why not? If it doesn't, you can always punch them in the face or armbar them.

    9. Run.

Ever had your stool pushed in? Your cellmates down at the co. holding pen might help you.

but that's just a judoka's opinion.. I could be wrong.

    Take shoe off first.

If you had thrown the guy down then you have already committed an assault and battery unless you can show your actions were justified for self-defense. Then you should be allowed to soccer kick as long as you can show that he was still presenting an imminent risk of bodily harm to you.

well, if you have his arm and are not too hesitant on screwing up body parts (damaging someone vs. restraining them), hold onto their arm and round kick into it -- right about where their elbow means their upper arm. it'll either tweak their shoulder badly, or just break their elbow. either is good, both is ab-fab.

just make sure your circumstances warrant such a piece of nastiness.

Or that you don't get caught.

Seriously though, if your Judo school is interested, you may be able to invite Mr. Lin in to do a seminar on this subject.
