Hi Chris - I am new to this gig too! I think this forum ROCKS! I am learning Hsing I, and also some tai chi cheun from Bob Thompson in Witchita. But mostly I just like the kickboxing after class.
Where do all you guys train?

Hi Chris, welcome to the forum.Try the kung fu forum next time,it's much busier than this one.Looks like a number of people from the sports-martialarts chat are fed-up with the BJJ'ers. There is hardly anyone in there anymore. What a shame.I have been looking for a new chat-room also.Ours is now ruined.

I teach/train in the Moore/Norman area of Oklahoma.

Hey guys,I have been corresponding with Chris McKinley for a while now. He is very knowledgable on the subject and has helped me a number of times. He is very 'legit',unlike a lot of people here.

Hi Chris,
I see by your profile that you study energy medicine. What's that?--honest question, as that is the only kind I ask.
Also, what style do you study/teach? for how long? etc., etc., etc.
Thanks,
Robin

Robin,
Hi. Energy medicine refers to methods of healing which make use of the body's energy. Examples include acupressure/acupuncture, qigong, Reiki, chakric healing, reflexology, Jin Shin Jyutsu, shiatsu, etc.
As for what I teach, I teach Baguazhang and Kali. Bagua is a Chinese internal art and Kali is a Filipino bladed weapons art.
