Thanks for pointing that out. I wouldn't call that a jump. It looks to me as though he is stepping to continue his movement. How do you think the technique can be improved?
Thanks again,

Hi Marcus, good response .
It looks as though he's doing the same thing we would do in TWC. He's covering his center as he continues his attack by raising his knee.

Good morning Marcus
very nice Web site!
Of matter of course, every situation has to be dealt with at the moment, all of the what IF'S could go on forever.
Although I do have a suggestion. Since you asked how could the technique be improved ? I would suggest ,instead of stepping over with a kick from the rear leg .How about using the front leg. (With the shin/sole kick ) and continuing in.
there's nothing wrong with all was done. Only a suggestion. kicking with the lead leg would be less telegraphic.
(Of course, who But Wingchun Man would read motion.)
By the way, I cant find any jump kicks? what sean is S.Teebas talking about?
My statements were made, about the movie section,I didnt see the front leg used, in any of the seens.
"O" let Amy Know she has nice,"form". (Guys DONT GO THERE!)
Sincerely yours . C.A.G.

Hi Marcus,
I think that technique from dummy is not working:

Other ones are working for me.

Hi Edmund
You need IE to view

If you mean Internet Explorer, I'm using that and it's not working.
-
Just so that you know, I'm using IE and it does not work for me either.
-
Edmund- You may have a component missing in your Windows media player. Several months ago I could not watch some videos.
Then a techie down loaded Windows media Player rght including plug ins etc. I have had no problem with what Marcus has put up using IE-Windows media player. Same with Phil's site..no problem.
Same with Ed's Windy City Wing Chun videos.

You need the java plugin. You can get it from the Sun microsystems page on the net.

Don't think it's the Java Plugin because I've got that.
(Certain pages are working just fine for me also.)
Odd. It may be because I am using a customized version of IE with Windows 2000. There could be an ever so slight difference in the html coding that it doesn't like because on that particular page it doesn't start up the Java.
