    David,

My memory may be failing me, but I seem to recall seeing or hearing of a transcript or summary of your conference speech. If available, I would urge you to share a link to it. I think it would be both valuable and interesting to some readers. I, for one, would enjoy reviewing it.

Phil, I am less familiar with the content of Cheung Sifu's speech, but perhaps you will consider to pursue likewise. Just because it wasn't included on the final CD doesn't mean he cannot share the content of his presentation if he wishes to (unless he made an agreement otherwise, of course).

    Regards,
    - Kathy Jo

    Hi KJ,
I have no way of hosting Sifu Cheung's speech online but I can email it to you. I used very high technology and video taped his speech from my TV screen It's a small file and easy to email. I just timed the speech they showed on the VCD and it was 1 minute and 9 seconds but his real speech was 4 minutes and 31 seconds. I'll email it to anyone else interested. Just send me a mailing address

David, thanks for the link and opportunity to read your great speech again. Too bad it didn't make the cut.

(FWIW, I echo the sentiment that there is more value in those words than some uncut material. Whatcha gonna do.)

Phil, thanks very much to you also for the offer, and I will look forward to it. I already sent you my email address.

    Regards,

    Hi David,

Thank you. I enjoyed re-reading your excellent piece.

To anyone who hasn't read it, it is a must.

In fact, all of David's articles are very good, and IMO, some of the best English writing on Wing Chun in existence.

    Thanks for the clips, Phil

It was a especially a treat to see Cheung Sifu performing his third set, as I had never seen the TWC Biu Tse before. Not surprisingly, it is quite different compared with how we practice (both in arrangement and energy), yet familiar landmarks are evident. Thank you so much for sharing and the opportunity to see it.

    Regards,
    - Kathy Jo

I think David Peterson made a mistake on that conference. He should have read "On Personal Protection" instead. People like new stuffs and that is very interesting! I make sure all my friends who work in security guard business have a copy of this.

    You're welcome KJ,
Did you get all three of them? The one with the speech is larger than I thought, it's 8mb. I got a few of the emails I sent to yahoo accounts returned because of the file sizes. You should note that the Biu Jee form was exaggerated for the demo. You can see some TWC forms including Biu Jee at; http://www.wingchunkwoon.com/empty.asp
If anyone's account can hold an 8mb file simply email your address to; sifu@wingchunkwoon.com

    Hi Phil,

Yes, I did receive them all, the last one today. It was a good speech. Thanks again.

FWIW, a guy on another mailing list recently mentioned about having virtually unlimited space for hosting Wing Chun videos, and apparently initiative to match the task. I will ping him in case he may be willing to make a similar offer here.
