Using a Game Pad on a PC

Having a few problems running mine:

Whenever I have the joystick enabled for game play, the camera always is panning down, as if I'm looking down.

Also, I can't get the analog sticks to work.

I'm running Windows XP and trying to play Unreal Tournament 2K4 with the pad.

You're joking, right? Why would you ever use a joystick when you could use the keyboard and mouse?

In the control panels there is settings for Joysticks/gamepads. Make sure the correct model is selected as your current and that the correct driver is installed,
if you don't have the correct driver then choose the closest match from the drop down menu then recalibrate the joystick using the "recalibrate feature" and desired sensitivities, etc. Joysticks generally make game play extremely aggravating, except on flight sims where some justicks have custom thruster and rudder controls.

better get a game pad or custom gaming peripheral or just keyboard and mouse ans said above.
