forgot to call mike and ask him, i will try to remember to call him today.
Spoke with Mike, the video is in editing. I have an interest in this also, so I will try and keep up with this.

Are you guys talking about the delay on the MQ video? Why all of the impatience over the video of an event you attended? Just curious.
BBK
why take pictures when your on vacation? you already saw it.
Your kids birthday, wedding, etc.
There were seminars at the conference, maybe people want to review the material or see how their performance was.
Impatience???
in 5 months it will be the 2nd. year anniversary of the event.
I think people have been very patient

I can definitely understand the interest, especially after two years and still nothing.
But getting cynical because you want to see your perofmance, or cant remember seminar material is admittedly a strange reason.
Is there money involved or something?
Rgds,
BBK
only admittedly strange by you.
I'm sure fighters never review their fights to see how they can better themselves?
i will not be receiving money from the release of the dvd, i will be buying a copy

Were you at the conference or involved in helping to promote the Mantis Arts?
Thought not.

Hi Jake,
I was not involved in the MQ gathering. But that does not mean I am not involved in the Mantis community. Presumptuous conclusion.
This is a public discussion board right?
It still sounds a little petty to me to be openly cynical about a DVD. But of course that is simply my own personal opinion.

BBK

You are right it is a public forum................. so apply that lecture to yourself in regards to the San Fran link.
Thanks,

One year for the DVD isn't too bad if you put it into context. It's more than three years since Sifu Cottrell first posted here saying he was almost done his Mantis history book.
Talking of context, why have a go at BBK cos he didn't show up for the Mantis meeting when I presume the cancellation of the second one means y'all didn't show up.
On topic, there's a photo set of Lan Jie in the James Wong book written with the WHF school in Hawaii.
Neil (Armstrong) will remember that book from our last meeting in Shanghai. The white cover book with the passage about '36 throws'.
But, since you;re spelling it Luan Jie I'm assuming it's not the same (7*) one.
