How 'bout "Senza Mamma E 'Nnammurata" by Jimmy Roselli, ahn? Incredible song!
I was on the metro earlier, deep in meditation, when a ruffian came over and started causing trouble. He started pushing me with his bag, steadily increasing the force until it became very annoying. When I turned to him, before I could ask him to stop, he immediately started hurling abuse like a scoundrel. I performed a basic chin na - carotid artery strike combination and sent him to sleep. The rest of my journey was very peaceful, and passersby hailed me as a hero - Warrior Man

There are some stories reminding me of everytime I listened to "the moon represents my heart".

There was a singer that used to sing this song on Taiwan TV. I forgot the name. She had a car accident and sustained "spinal injury" ? She came back on a wheel chair and sang the song one last time on TV. I was a very young boy. I moved to tears. Much like the story of Christopher Reeve (superman).

And of course, the story of Teresa Deng/Teng. She had her first record. I listened to it over and over. b/c dad just got the panasonic/international record player for the family in the late 60' or early '70. I listened to it over and over. Then Teresa was not popular anymore in Taiwan. She then went to Japan and also Los Angeles. She worked on her voice lessons. She worked very hard. Neighbors in LA would hear her singing every morning. With the help of a Japanese teacher, Teresa went on to singing comp on Japanese TV and won. It was blue team against white team? She was the first non Japanese to win the title.---

    ---

anyhoo, it is a song that inspired me a lot.

my Japanese sucks. but this is the first Japanese song I "forced" myself to learn. b/c it is Teresa's.

I'm a sucker for 70's, 80's & 90's R & B slow jams too. Rene & Angela, Tyrone Davis, Rick James made some great ones (he was a musical genius! LOL), Howard Hewett, R Kelly (I know, I know...but I'm just talking about his music), Levert, Heatwave, Lutha (big Lutha, not little Lutha), and the list goes on.
