Ramon Dekker - competitive fighting model

Here are some good clips of Ramon Dekker for those who haven't heard of him before and who are into the competitive fighting aspect. Imagine that he is your opponent. How would you stack up? I heard he is hurting from his many fights though.

    How's his ground game?

He looks like a great striker.

What weight class is he in?

How about this welterweight, MMA up-and-comer???

That's funny. The guys in our club were just passing around a disc with a bunch of his fights.

    Every hit looks painful.

Dekker is a pure wrecking machine when it comes to stand-up.

Anyone that's even half as tough as him would be dangerous....
I don't think Wing Chun is so limited that I can't do it when I wrestle, box, kickbox, or fight by MMA rules, nor am I so limited a student that I can't improve by training in each of those forums. -Andrew S

A good instructor encourages his students to question things, think for themselves and determine their own solutions to problems. They give advice, rather than acting as a vehicle for the transmission of dogma.
