Irimi ENTERING concept in Southern Arts

I'm wondering if there is a term for "Entering in" (various direct and indirect ways) in southern CMA like the term "Irimi" is to Aiki arts...

certain "hard" and diagonal bridging methods in Southern Mantis and others use this "entering" , not to go backwards but forwards (direct at various angles .. side & forward; BUT forward and entering on) ... i think southern dragon (lung ying) does too??

some choy lay fut i've seen also....

so it would seem "entering in on" the attack is not uncommon in southern chinese arts...

i know bik ma etc and sarm gok ma work in these concepts but is there a term for this? ... maybe its a part of "pun ging" bounce off energy as they say in tai gik?

I've heard the term "chan sik" but i think thats more an aggressive attacking attitude in general and not "entering" per say

    hope that made sense

    just curious

thanks all and have a festive weekend
