What I am talking about is doing these things against competent fighters, guys with solid skills and when you are really going at it. When competent fighters see you reach, they begin to salivate.
thats funny because you mention the same thing

what competant proven fighters did you pressure test with terrence? name them

doesnt that just prove that you dont need to train it more?

i mean come on calling some one a freak as an excuse for them winning with out gjj is pretty dumb

All you have to do is find a good MMA or boxing or MT gym to find competent fighters. Do you want a list of all the places I've trained over the years? As I have said repeatedly:

And it has nothing to do with me or my abilities or my understanding. It has to do with how YOU train or don't train. If you do realistic (alive) training (which is at its core realistic sparring) ,AND you do that training with good, proven fighters, you will see what I am saying is true. It's not how good you are or how great your understanding, just how training in a certain way exposes you to reality -- and that if you don't train that way, it is very, very easy to fool yourself.

All it takes is a short time with some good boxers/strikers or wreslters to see that you don't want to reach for punches. That's why good boxers, strikers, and MMA people don't reach for punches.

It's not a matter of just training the same things more, there are elements that BJJ has, for example, that other grappling methods haven't developed to the same level. And there are things in wrestling or sambo that BJJ hasn't developed to the same level. That's why MMA guys cross-train.

When you go train at a good MMA school, you will spar with all level of people, from pro to amatuer to recreational guys. I've sparred with Saulo (in BJJ) and Karo (in MMA) at seminars, I've sparred with Vaghi's MMA team guys, with Berger, at Finney's, etc.. This is nothing special -- everyone who goes to a decent MMA school will do the same.

"Here you are reaching for your opponent's punch"....(Niehoff)

    ***AND THE REACHING IS MINIMAL.

You're a bad joke who tries to bring other people down to his level; ie.- "If I can't do they they can't do it."

That's not the way of the world, my friend. If you can't use a block like you saw in that vid it's because you s u c k - and not because it doesn't work.

Look at 30 seconds into your video:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z1d1OyedoDE

your reaching hand is extended almost fully. An inch or two in front of you is "minimal", not 80% extended!
